The Tradition Continues

........ but with a few additions.

This years Christmas Ski-eve tradition was just as good as the last. However I didn't get plowed over by Sizzle and knocked off my ski's, but we did get a chance to spend some time on the slopes with Mr. Kringle.
After, we decided to spread some Christmas Spirit and go carol to a dear friend of the Zundels: Arnold Frieberg.

Very touching and very emotional to be there among one the greatest and influential Christian artists of our time.
It started off the Holiday perfectly and helped bring back the real meaning of Christmas.

Thank you Z's!

And THIS is why I love Google

I was going through my Google RSS feeds and this came up:

The End of the Internet

Congratulations! This is the last page.

Thank you for visiting the End of the Internet. There are no more links.

You must now turn off your computer and go do something productive.

Go read a book, for pete's sake.

Made me laugh out loud! Then I proceeded to turn off my computer, leave work and "do something productive"- like tackle my long list of things To Do. Let's see if I can get it all done before the end of the year?!

2 Weeks in Greece

All in one blog post. Brace yourself and prepare for your eyes to be BLOWN..........POW!

ATHENS

If most of you don't alread know, I hate pidgeons. I repeat, I HATE PIDGEONS! They are the rats of the air like shrimp is the cockroach of the sea! They are dirty and disgusting and I usually kick them when I see them in my way, or I will chase them down. Usually this gives me bad Karma because later in my vacations (Italy, Greece) I get pooped on. You'd think I would learn my lesson.

Museum time. Funny bums and also one that looks so life like. I did add a censored picture for all the kids who may be on. And little Nike in Athenias hand was actually over 6' tall in real life. That means Athenia was HUGE! No wonder the Parthenon is gigantic.

Oh, the first of MANY delicious Gyro's. I like to call them Gyaco's because basically, they are a fancier version of the taco.

Why are they laughing? "i'm the map i'm the map i'm the map i'm the map i'm the map. I'M THE MAP!"

Train rides and Daddy Daughter dates only streets.

Followed by dinner and then dessert of delicious Baklava. Never had it so good, so good, so good!
I especially love Jayna's trough of gelato and baklava.

Brooke striking a pose up on the Acropolis while Kristephanie Zundelac (Kristy Uzelac + Stephanie Zundel= our celebrity couple name) has a bonding moment!

And the first of MANY group photo's.

Sunset on the highest peak in Athens

DAY TRIP
Jumpy- the sweet "mini-bus" we rented and drove all over the mountain area north of Athens.

Welcome to Arachova, the Aspen of Greece. Yes these really are furry pillows!

Delphi, the oracle and the stadium where we did our own little performances.

This one's for you Barb!

Zundelac just can't resist the chance to perform........a little Mama Mia!

Thank you, thank you! You've been great. WE LOVE YOU DELPHI!

Next stop, the water to get to Corinth. All that Green down there is one massive olive field.

Once we got to the water and didn't see a bridge, we realized we had to take a ferry. So we decided to venture around where we were but not before Brian and Aaron tried to dance with the devil. The seas were very angry that day!

We went to Osios Loukas, a beautiful Monestary where they make their own honey.

We got there just before the church closed but once we walked over they decided to leave early and lock the doors so we couldn't walk inside to take a look around. So I did what I've done before in Rome: Let me explain via picture.

And the main reason for the trip was for these guys- you did AWESOME!

ATHENS
once again: for all your photo op views.

These two are my favorite pictures an when I have my own loft apartment with brick interior, they are going up life size!

SANTORINI
This is where we stayed. Yea, I still can't believe it myself. We felt like movie stars so we decided to relax like movie stars on the patio before venturing out.

Breakfast on the patio (love the robe Aaron) before we rode ALL OVER the island for the day.

Picture Time- oh how I love my girls, the boys, and Brooke's expression in her windmill picture. Please click on it to get a bigger version to see how happy she was to be there.

ASS CAVE- 'nuff said

And for the sunset over in Oia (ee-ya) where apparently we were sharing a view with Beyonce. We did our own Beyonce photo shoot as well.

We were sad we couldn't take our boat ride over to hike the volcano, so we rode donkey's instead. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was referenced so much that I offered to let Stephanie borrow my jeans for the day.

This is just proof as to how small my ass was. I could practically walk up the stairs just by taking my legs out of the stirrups. I later became the Ass Whisperer to tell this "Mammoth Jack" ass to get someone to feed my anorexic ass!

Last night of the cold wind, crumbling walls, and cuddling (or cupping. Whatever, he liked it, you can even see the smile on his face.) And last group shot in Santorini.

SANTORINI
once again: so you can see what we saw.

Back To Athens for a day of lunch, shopping, walking around, and doing what we all do best, eating baklava and people watching on the steps of Syntagma Square.

Steph's new best friends licked Brooke's hand and she wasn't very thrilled, even after the dog followed us 5 blocks to apologize. She didn't want any part of it.

So where was I and how did I get so many AMAZING pictures. Behind this bad boy!

Have I mentioned I LOVE my camera? Who wants a photo shoot by Uzi?
